This has nothing to do with my plugin, my plugin is not working with registration form, all users by default are set as subscribers per WordPress settings. Also, bbPress is not using subscriber role, it has internal bbp-participant role. I can add a action in the next version to fire when a purchase code is verified, so you can hook into that action and do what else you need.
