My plugin uses JavaScript Date object by default, so I don’t need to add any new functionality, since it doesn’t depend on my plugin to calculate the date. So, when specifying the countdown target in my plugin you use Date object. There are many examples on the internet on how to create that object to support timezone offset calculation and specify UTC time and get time according to the visitor timezone.

Also, there is a library called SugarJS that expands Date function with more direct way of specifying UTC time and date. I have added to the list to introduce examples in the plugin with next version that deal with UTC, but I don’t have free time to work on that now.

If you want me for custom work on this, I don’t have any free time for the next 3 weeks to take on any new custom work. I suggest you search a bit on the internet about UTC and Date object, it is all already there.
